General terms & conditions

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These terms and conditions apply to every order placed through the Yize website. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.

Who we are

Yize, Ringlaan 80/2, 3900 Pelt, Belgium. VAT: BE0792.448.626. Food business registration (FASFC/FAVV): AER/VLI/074710. Email: info@yize.be.

Our products

We prepare homemade dishes, sauces, sides, snacks and drinks. Products may be supplied ready-to-eat or frozen, as indicated on each product page. Photos are for illustration; small variations in appearance are normal for freshly made food.

Orders and pre-ordering

We work on a pre-order basis. When you place and pay for an order you make a binding offer, and the contract is formed once we confirm your order by email. We prepare orders for set pickup or delivery dates — for example, orders placed before the Thursday cutoff are prepared for that weekend. The available dates are shown during checkout.

Prices

All prices are in euros and include Belgian VAT unless stated otherwise. Any delivery costs are shown before you confirm payment. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. If a price is obviously incorrect, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Payment

Payment is made online at checkout through our secure payment provider via Shopify. We begin preparing your order only once payment has been received.

Pickup and delivery

You can collect your order at our location in Pelt on the date shown at checkout, or have it delivered where delivery is available for your area. Because the food is freshly made for your date, please collect or accept your order on the agreed day; we cannot hold, re-prepare, or refund orders that are not collected on time.

Food safety, allergens and storage

Yize is registered with the Belgian Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC/FAVV). Allergen information is available on our product pages and on request. Once your order is in your care, you are responsible for storing, refrigerating or freezing it correctly, reheating it thoroughly, and consuming it within the recommended time.

Cancellations and refunds

Because we prepare fresh, made-to-order food, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. How and when you can cancel, and how refunds work, are set out in our Cancellation Policy.

Liability

We prepare our food with the greatest care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law and the competent Belgian courts have jurisdiction. As a consumer, you can also submit a dispute through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page at the time you order.
